This method consists of two parts, (1.1)- Download & install Downloader app for Firestick , and (1.2) - Using Downloader app to sideload .Zip files to your devices, then install these zip file for Kodi on Firestick.Note: this method is also using to download & install all files format that Fire TV, Android TV boxes support, including .Zip, .Streming Android Apk, etc...). 1.1 - Steps to Download and Install Downloader app on an amazon FireTV, Firestick.
1.1.2. In the Search box, Type in Downloader and click “Downloader” which will appear under keyboard
1.1.3. Select the Downloader app like as this picture below
1.1.4. Click on Download button
1.1.5. Click Open button
1.1.6. Continue click Allow button
Done. Downloader app has been installed success on your devices & ready to use. Now, we will going to next step (1.2)
1.2 - How to using Downloader to Sideload Zip files & install .Zip File for Kodi on Fire TV amazon, Firestick, Android TV Boxes.
- To sideload a Zip file or an APK file to your device, you need to know exactly the address of the zip files you wish to install. Currently, there are many website & kodi tutorial blog share the URL Address to download kodi zip files (including *.video.zip, repository.*.zip, plugin.*.zip, etc..), KodiBoss is also have a "Kodi Zip Files Page" that often update latest version of zip kodi files, including link download & Shortlink to using with Firestick/TV...
- Most of address that sharing to download files have long url with alots of characters. So we will using a shortlink site like as Bit.ly website, this site will allow you to shorten the URL you have just copied. This makes the following process easier.

- Shorlink after using bit.ly: http://bit.ly/thecrew8
1.2.2- The zip will now begin to download
1.2.3- When the download has completed select Done
1.2.4- Now, open your Kodi app, then click Add-ons
1.2.5- Select the Package Browser Icon (box-icon)
1.2.6- Continue select Install from zip file
1.2.7- Select External Storage
1.2.8- Scroll down to find and select Downloader
1.2.9- You will now see the repository.thecrew-x.x.zip file you have downloaded. Select it
1.2.10- Wait few seconds for Add-on enabled notification like as this picture.

#2. (method 2) Install Zip File For Kodi On Fire TV by using ES File Explorer
This tutorial consists of two parts, How to install ES File Explorer for Firestick and How to download and install a zip file for Fire stick through ES File Explorer
2.1. Steps To Install ES File Explorer On Firestick
...1. From amazon Fire TV/Stick Home screen, click Settings
...2. Then click Device
...3. Select Developer options
...4. Select Apps from Unknown Sources to change it from OFF to ON
...5. Click Turn On buttom
...6. Now return to Firestick home screen
...7. Select Search & start typing ES File Explorer
...8. Select ES File Explorer when the application appears
...9. Select Free
Now, Wait few second for ES File Explorer will download and installing on your Firestick. That is the 1st step complete. Now, we can now move to 2rd step "How to download and install a .zip file for your Firestick"
2. STEPS TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL A .ZIP FILE FOR FIRESTICK TV
Before we start, you need to know the url address of the .Zip files that you wish to download and install. For this example i am going to use the Kodibae Testing repo zip.
The url address to download Kodibae repository .zip :

Like you seen, the URL can be pretty long and would be a pain putting in to the Amazon Firestick. So, i'll use the URL shortener website goo.gl to make a short link for the URL address to download kodibae repository .zip.

1...Open ES File Explorer
2...Select Fovorite when ES File Explorer open
3...Click Add
4...An Add to favorite box open, click Path
5...Type EXACTLY this URL on box: https://goo.gl/t6KNu7 and click Next
(https://goo.gl/t6KNu7 is shortlink to download Kodibae repository .zip that i was created in the top)
6...Add a name for the zip file & select Next. I will use the name KodiBoss.Com this example
7...Then click Add
8...You should now have a bookmark in your Favourites with the name you chose. Select it "KodiBoss.Com"
9...Now, the .zip file repository.kodibae.zip will download and tell you the location of the download (which will always be the Download directory on your Firestick)
Remember: DO NOT select Open Folder or Open File, Press the Home button on your Firestick to return to Firestick home screen
10...Press the Home button on your Firestick and launch Kodi and select Add-ons
11...Then click Box icon/Browser add-ons
12...Select Install from zip file
13...And continue select External storage
14...Then continue select Download
15...And select repository.kodibae.zip
16...Wait few second. You will see a notification as Kodi Bae repository Add-on installed...
